Water emerging through a driveway may indicate a buried supply leak, but the opening in the surface does not necessarily sit over the failed pipe. We investigate the route and use suitable tracing methods before planning access.
Signs worth noting
- A wet patch that persists in dry weather
- Unexplained meter movement
- A suspected private supply beneath the drive
What happens next
Meter and isolation checks help establish the affected supply. Acoustic or tracer-gas evidence may narrow down a hidden leak under paving, concrete or another driveway surface.
Before you contact us
Arrange vehicle clearance and tell us about access gates, parking and shared drives. Share any information about buried utilities or previous supply repairs.

Your questions, answered.
Will you replace the driveway finish?
Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded. We explain the likely opening before starting so you can plan the making-good work.
How does the £100 deposit work?
First, contact us about the leak. Once the job and appointment are confirmed, we send you a payment link for a £100 booking deposit. This is deducted from £1,195, leaving £1,095. Sending an enquiry does not take a payment or confirm an appointment.
Will you need to lift floors or open walls?
Detection helps narrow down the source before access is made. Some leaks require floors, walls, ceilings or external surfaces to be opened so the pipe can be repaired. We explain what is needed and aim to avoid unnecessary disruption.
Can I claim through my insurance?
We provide a detailed Trace & Access report for you to submit to your insurer. Acceptance and reimbursement depend on your policy, excess, limits and insurer’s decision. Check any approval requirements with your insurer before work begins.
